Dzintari Concert Hall will use the vision of VINCENTS to renovate the Great Hall

On August 14, 2019, the results of the design competition for the renovation of the Dzintari Concert Hall's Great Hall were announced, where project of Vincent Arhitektūra were the only one who got the nomination.
The task of the contestants was to offer solutions to increase the capacity of the Great Hall, to extend the use of the concert hall before and after the summer season, to design the front and entrance of the hall and the administration building of LLC “Dzintaru koncertzāle”.
The jury evaluated works according to three main criteria. The most important thing was to preserve the cultural and historical value of the summer concert hall and its unique acoustics in interaction with modern solutions, so that the offer would be practicable, not complicated or expensive to manage. One of the decisive conditions of the tender was that the proposed solutions should be able to be implemented without interrupting the work of concert hall.
