On January 3, 2020, our long-term partner and  founding partner of gmp prof. Meinhard von Gerkan is celebrating 85th birthday. Starting with the large Berlin Tegel Airport project in the 1960s, von Gerkan has made a significant contribution to architecture in the Federal Republic of Germany. Today, gmp is one of the largest German architectural practices, with an international presence and over 500 employees. Vincents Architecture 21-year-long cooperation with gmp has resulted in more than 10 projects developed in Latvia.

In an interview to the German magazine DER SPIEGEL, architect prof. von Gerkan admits that villa GUNA in Jurmala is his second most important object after Tegel airport in Germany.
