Memorial site in honour of the centenary of the Latgalian Congress. The landscaped square with a sculpture will define the city's space, creating a new meeting and sightseeing place in Rezekne.

The central element of the area – the Latgalian star -, has been created as the artistically expressive form. It is based on the complex of metaphors derived from the geographical location of the Latgalian most populated places and from the historically symbolic meaning of the Latgalian Congress.
