With the outstanding achievements, Vincent architects participated in the design competition "The Foundation of the Memorial Site in Honour of the Centenary of the Latgalian Congress in Atbrivoshanas Aleja 61, in Rezekne", and won the second place, which means the continuation of negotiations on the further development of the project.

In this competition, 9 pretenders from Latvia and from the European Union’s countries participated. The Vincent’s proposal has been acknowledged by the jury as a very ambitious project, as well as the high level of the site improvement defined by the project, has been emphasized.

The central element of the area – the Latgalian star, has been created as the artistically expressive form. It is based on the complex of metaphors derived from the geographical location of the Latgalian most populated places and from the historically symbolic meaning of the Latgalian Congress.
